Counselor: Last Names N-Z
I graduated from Western Grove High School in 2010 then attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where I obtained my Bachelor’s of Science in Agricultural Education. I enjoyed being a Razorback and making new friendships through Sigma Alpha Professional Sorority.
I continued with my education at U of A and began their master’s program in school counseling. I completed my degree internships with Huntsville High School and was hired to join the team for the 2014/2015 school year. I am entering my 5th wonderful year of serving HSD.
In 2018, I earned my Educational Specialist degree with the concentration of building level administration. I hope to one day pursue a doctoral program in education as well.
My fur-child, Bailey (mini dachshund), and I moved to Kingston, AR in May of 2014 after I married my soul-mate, Dalton. We added another four-legged member to the family, Heidi, in the same year. We run both Hereford and Angus cattle and love living by the Kings River. This past spring we welcomed our baby girl, Maylee Joye Parker, into the world. She is changing so fast but watching her learn makes me so proud. Being her mom is such a blessing and special adventure.
Outside of HHS, my daily life includes spending time with my great friends and extended family. I have many nieces and nephews so I’m proud of my “Auntie Tish” title. Exploring the many hidden treasures of Arkansas is another one of my passions. We live in a wonderful state and there is no where more beautiful than the heart of the Ozarks. If able to, I would spend each day of summer on the creeks, rivers, and lakes in our area. The water is my happy place!
