I am starting my first year as the assistant principal at Huntsville High School, and I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of #EagleNation! I have a passion for working with high school students and staff, and Huntsville has a lot to offer anyone who chooses to call this beautiful section of Madison County home. If you happen to follow our social media, I take great pride in finding ways to make our students, staff, and school shine brightly. So if you haven’t already, be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter at @hhsfly.
Personally, I am married to a fellow educator, my lovely wife Jessica, who teaches photography and online journalism at Fayetteville High School. I have two beautiful daughters who will be in kindergarten (Maddie) and 3rd grade (Lily) here in Huntsville as my family makes the move from Springdale to Huntsville this summer.
Prior to Huntsville, I was the assistant principal at Lincoln High School and the assistant administrator at Rogers Heritage High School. Before my administrative career began, I was a social studies teacher and I loved every second of my time teaching history at Decatur (1 year) and Western Yell County (7 years).
If you ever stop by my office, you’ll quickly see my passions revolve around sports and sci-fi. I am a huge fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, St. Louis Cardinals, and Green Bay Packers. I am a Star Trek and Star Wars fanatic, and I get a lot of my inspiration and hope for the future from movies and TV shows like this. If you ever want to chat Trek or Hogs, I’m your guy!
