I graduated from Huntsville High School in 2002. In fact, all of my K-12 schooling was in Huntsville. In 2011, I graduated from John Brown University with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I graduated with my Master’s degree in Special Education Instruction K-12 in 2017.
This is my 5th year teaching at Huntsville High School. Currently. This year, I am teaching resource and inclusion math.
I started my teaching career by subbing for a few years in the Huntsville School District. After I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree, I taught a year at Huntsville Head Start. Then, I taught for two years in Fayetteville at Vantage Point Therapuetic Day Treatment center.
My husband, Craig, and I have been married for 16 years. We have two sons: Logan is 13 and Garrett is 9. They both go to school in Huntsville. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. If we are not at some sporting event (including trap shooting!), we are at the drag strip because my husband has a drag car. We also enjoy anything outdoors: hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, etc. We attend church at Huntsville 1st Assembly of God, and it is also important to us to spend as much time as we can with family and friends.
