This summer I attended professional development for a new course we are offering at HHS this fall. The course is called Quantative Literacy. It is a course that is designed to be a 4th math course and several colleges are using the course to replace College Algebra for the students who are not in STEM majors. Please note the course we offer at the high school level is an introductory course and will not count as college credit.
I also attended the AIMS workshop that gave me project ideas to make the curiculum more interesting.
